Role Description
As a Mobile Developer (Flutter), you will develop comprehensive and world leading solutions to support B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms. You will develop and maintain the Cross-Platform Mobile solution as well as extending the implementation leveraging Agile methodologies. You must have extensive experience with large-scale cloud microservices based platforms. You must be proactive, a motivated self-starter - an instigator. You don't wait for instructions, whilst thinking about how to help achieve goals, and you move faster than expected to do so. You are relentlessly resourceful with continuous improvement mindset and intellectually curious, teaching yourself what you need to know to deliver results.
Responsibilities
• Design, build and develop dynamic and responsive mobile applications using AWS Amplify, Flutter SDK and Dart programming language
• Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various processes using NodeJS in line with best practices
• Design REST API using OpenAPI Swagger specification by following standards and
guidelines
• Leverage broad expertise in AWS and its range of services and deep understanding of approaches and disciplines such as Agile, DevOps, and architecture principles for Android or iOS technologies to define and deliver core mobile application architecture
• Translate Figma designs into reusable and configurable code
• Extend Flutter modules and plugins to improve design and functionality, ensuring its fit for purpose
• Implement push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and local data storage
• Extending MapBox SDK, embed interactive and customisable maps inside a Flutter widget
• Integrate Flutter to AWS Services, Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync and Cognito
• Work with a team of backend developers, frontend developers, DevOps engineers, UX/UI designers and architect
• Produce quality technical designs as part of implementation and support, following AWS and DevOps best practices
• Work autonomously and take responsibility for assigned task
Experience and Requirements
• Must have 2+ years development experience in Flutter SDK and Dart programming language
• Must have experience working with AWS, such as Lambda, API Gateway, AppSync, ELK, SQS, SNS, RDS and Cognito
• Must have experience implementing Push Notifications
• Must have OpenAPI experience and leveraging Swagger
• Must have experience with GitHub and general version control
• Must have knowledge/experience in performance profiling, tuning, and optimisation
• Good to have experience with Figma
• Good to have experience with AWS Amplify and AppSync
• Good to have Atlassian suite experience, including Jira and Confluence
Licenses & Certifications
• AWS Certified Developer (not mandatory, but highly desirable)
• Android and / or iOS Developer Certification (not mandatory, but highly desirable)
