Get to know GFSA (Grab Financial Services Asia)
In a region where over 70 per cent of the adult population is still underbanked, and millions of SMEs still need crucial funding, GFSA aims to help bridge these unmet needs and close the financial inclusion gap. GFSA, puts in place a much-needed infrastructure that will accelerate financial inclusion in Southeast Asia. Many in our region have no access to loans that they can use to assist short term financial needs or grow their small business. GFSA is building a reliable alternative to traditional credit scoring methods that is customized for the majority of unbanked consumers and small businesses in Southeast Asia, which will create economic opportunity for millions of people across the region
Get to know your Learning Curve
Working in GFSA team, you will immerse yourself in the world of fintech, understand the core pillars of fintech product and loan product formulation. These pillars coupled with commercial sense will enable you to understand how fintech can provide credit access to the segment that traditional institutions and incumbent banks have been unable to address
The day-to-day activities
• Adapt, develop and detail GFSA's regional strategy to Vietnam market, competitive and regulatory context
• Support daily and end-to end execution of lending program-related duties of products, customer initiatives and programs across segments
• Work closely with Commercial Manager to develop and implement commercial strategy to maximize revenue streams
• Act as a local lead for business development and commercial framework regulatory liaison in assigned partnership engagements
• Provide strategic and operational updates and insights on local market performance to regional leadership and management
• Effectively collaborate with the rest of the GFSA, Grab Financial and Grab peers and functional leads in Vietnam and other markets
The must haves
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience across project management, business analysis and strategic planning, preferably within financial services
• Breadth of functional experience across - strategy development, strategic project management, cross-functional operational implementation of new initiatives and ongoing business management
• Keen interest in Fintech and startup working environment
• A good team player with ability to work independently
• Strong learning attitude and highly motivated self-starter
• Quick learner, Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
• High levels of adaptability, comfortable with ambiguity and working in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment
• Solid spoken and written communication skills
