Graphic Designer cum Media Assistant

We are looking for an experienced and creative Graphic Designer cum Media Assistant to join our team. The position will support the team by creating materials that advance our communications efforts by capturing, editing, creating graphics and producing videos for internal and external purposes. This position is under the supervision of the Marketing and Communications Manager and Executive Director.



The Graphic Designer cum Media Assistant is mainly responsible for creating and designing various materials including VBCWE's branding collaterals, visual contents for VBCWE's communications channels and to support services for VBCWE's clients, etc. The role will also support other marcomms activities such as facilitating events and producing media products. Several administrative tasks may be included to contribute to the team's common efforts.



III. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES, DUTIES AND TASKS

1. Design and update VBCWE's branding collaterals including brand identity package, brochures, letterhead, presentation templates, etc. for print and digital use upon request and in compliance with VBCWE's brand guidelines

2. Create visual contents and illustrations for VBCWE communications channels including website, facebook, LinkedIn, email newsletter, etc.

3. Coordinate with channels' suppliers to ensure all contents are displayed properly and handle related technical issues

4. Research industry trends to present ideas and concepts for timely creative innovation

5. Design collaterals for VBCWE's events, workshops and trainings (including backdrop, standee, stage layout, invitation, online banner, etc.)

6. Design communications materials to support services provided to VBCWE's clients

7. Create and design various materials including infographics, presentation materials, and visual contents to support other departments' work

8. Perform retouching and manipulation of images

9. Create and edit videos for use on social media platforms

10. Create and edit videos to highlight, recap, and promote VBCWE's events (optional)

11. Organize and manage VBCWE's photos and videos library

12. Find suppliers/manufacturers for marcomms related products (such as brochure printing, gift sets...) and work with them to ensure the products are completed with high quality and in timely manner

13. Support administrative tasks to facilitate VBCWE's events, workshops and trainings

14. Provide technical support for design- and video-related efforts

15. Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
