Role Description
Analyze requirements and user stories, and raise questions about gaps or ambiguity early
Write, maintain and execute test cases, checklists and test scenarios (functional, regression, smoke, exploratory)
Perform cross-browser, responsive and API testing (Postman or similar)
Log defects with clear steps, evidence and severity in [Jira / other tracker], and verify fixes
Take part in sprint planning, refinement and release testing; give go / no-go input on quality
Report test progress and quality status to the team and stakeholders
Work with automation engineers to flag stable, repeatable cases that are worth automating
Use approved AI tools to draft test cases and review coverage, always checking their output before use
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on manual testing experience on web products
Good communication in English
Solid grasp of testing fundamentals: test levels and types, test design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary values), the bug life cycle
Experience writing clear test cases and bug reports
Working knowledge of SQL and API testing basics
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum and a test management or issue tracking tool
Careful, curious and organized, with good written and spoken English at influence level
Able to work with
developers and
product owners and explain issues without blame
Nice to have
ISTQB Foundation Level certification
Basic test automation knowledge (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) or willingness to learn
Experience using AI assistants for test design, test data or bug analysis
Experience with Allure TestOps for test case management and reporting
Domain experience in fintech
