VMIN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2023
With the purpose to continue supporting and expanding our growing community at VMIN - Vietnam Music Industry Network in 2023, we are looking for VMIN Internship 2023 who join us in this exciting journey.
Duration: 6 months from June 15, 2023, until December 15, 2023
Participation: Mostly virtual participation and remote collaboration. There will be weekly/bi-weekly/monthly meetings (online & offline) required based on the requirement of specific tasks or in the time closer to the main event in November. All interns are required to be available in person during November 19 - 25, 2023 to be a part of the event organizer team.
Note: This is an internship position for students enrolling in institutions that offer internship programs
Requirements:
Everyone with a passion for music, a desire to learn about the music business, and a computer with Internet access.
Available schedule to work on assigned projects/tasks and participate in frequent team meetings (once/twice a month) with the supervisor (and VMIN team during the event period) to coordinate with the team members.
Submit a final report of your internship progress with final results, key learnings, and recommendations for your role and the company.

Number of Internship Roles 2023: 24 openings in 6 different departments
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: 4 openings
Report to the Executive Director to support the company's business development strategic plan including market research, music industry landscape research, domestic/regional players research, etc. Provide analysis with key findings and recommendations based on research data and information. Analysis reports including SWOT, PEST, Competitor Analysis, etc. in written reports or presentations. Assist supervisor with event evaluation including surveys, results tracking and review, gathering media clipping, participants interviews, build final event reports.
PROGRAMMING (CONFERENCE): 4 openings
Participate in programming development of conference events including topic planning and content production. Lead scheduling of activities and sessions with the Head of Conference. Act as the liaison between the VMIN team and speakers to prepare for conference programming and promotion. Collaborate with other departments including Partnership, Marketing, Operations, and Production to manage speakers' arrangements.
PROGRAMMING (SHOWCASE): 4 openings
Participate in programming development of showcases and concerts including artist management and stage management. Lead performance preparation with the Head of Showcase. Act as the liaison between the VMIN team and artists to prepare for showcase programming and promotion. Collaborate with other departments including Partnership, Marketing, Operations, and Production to manage artists' arrangements.
MARKETING: 6 openings
Collaborate with a team of more than 10 members to deliver the marketing and promotion strategy for Vietnam Music Week 2023. Participate in key roles including content development, community building, website and newsletter editing, social media management, publicity and media coordinator, graphic design, video editing, etc. Work closely with the Head of Marketing to deliver target KPIs, monitor and optimize execution, and track results.

VIDEO PRODUCTION: 4 openings
Lead video content production for Vietnam Music Week including content and creative planning, script writing, storyboard developing, working with video producers during the conference week to assist with filming, and post-production editing. Collaborate with the Marketing department for briefing and the Programming department for content. Manage YouTube channels for playlist creation, video uploads, and short-form video updates.
HUMAN RESOURCES: 2 openings
Report to the Executive Director to assist with interns and volunteers recruitment, onboarding, announcement, meetings, team building, performance reviews, paperwork, acknowledgement, etc. Lead preparation for the after-party at the end of the Vietnam Music Week events on November 25, 2023. Gather and edit interns' and volunteers' stories and testimonials. Prepare proposal and planning for the internship and volunteer program in 2024.
