WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
The role will be responsible to support business operations and growth in line with other functions/regional/global direction to seek for new business development opportunities, protecting or increase volume/profit, support product and geographical expansion and engage our stakeholders.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
Be in-charge to engage with various stakeholders with CA&C Director/Manager supporting product & geographical expansion and grow volume and profit by analyzing current business models and new potential business model (such as distribution model, wholesales or new partnership, etc.)
Be in charge of all renewal & extension licenses and approval for smooth business operations (especially for new products launches or revamp and PHW changes)
Local champion for the ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) & QMS (Quality Management System) in coordination with CA&C Team (especially with Crisis Management Procedure and Crisis Communication) and local EXCOM to ensure Business Continuity plan (BCP)
Monitor regulatory affairs by nurturing relationship with key government and ministries, de-prioritize or moderate business impacts (i.e tax increase, EHW, RRP, Supply chain) in coordination with regional/global CA&C direction
Support Business development agenda in coordination with CA&C Director/Manager (Privatization...)
Support Combat contraband, counterfeit and illicit whites to maximize volume and margin opportunities with AITO
Support and follow-up with CA&C Department budget as well as stakeholders engagement monitoring (including mapping, frequency, activities roadmap, etc.) and reporting to Region (KSE & GHE)
Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager's request.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field of studies
At least 2 years in corporate/government affairs or regulatory affairs
Experience in business/strategic development or sales experiences with stakeholders egagement exposure
Working in tobbaco industry or equivalent sensitive industry is a plus
Functional Skills:
Interpersonal relations & Influencing skills
Corporate/external/government affairs experience is a must
Basic financial acumen and strategic thinking is necessary
Stakeholder engagement and communications knowdege is an advantage
Entrepreneur mindset and Paralegal knowledge is a plus
