Job Description & Summary
A career in our Deals Strategy Team within the broader Deals practice will grant you the opportunity to help investors and other organizations execute deals, craft new strategies, and invest in Vietnam and regional markets. In short, we help local and international companies to formulate, execute, and realize value from deals and investment. Through data-driven insights we help our clients move in the right direction, ensuring maximum value creation for their companies.
Deals Strategy helps our clients navigate Vietnam's market in regard to new investment (market assessment, entry, expansion, and feasibility studies) or the full deal cycle (through due diligence and commercial strategy). Vietnam's market provides significant opportunities as well as challenges for both existing companies and new investors, and our team works to add value to our clients by addressing their commercial, competitive, strategic, and regulatory concerns in the course of investment.
As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. A new PwC Deals Strategy Associate should be prepared to come to work with a good attitude, be willing to take the initiative, and be ready to analyze all facets of the Vietnamese market, various industries, and individual companies. It is expected that a team member would be able to demonstrate the skills listed below.

Proficiency in basic computer, research, and analysis tools;
Proficiency in financial analysis / quantitative analysis;
Proficiency in data manipulation & and analysis;
Proficiency in report / business writing;
Proficiency in the structuring of market sizing cases, value chain analysis, and other common models for analysis;
An understanding of and perspective on relevant issues within the Vietnamese market;and
Proficiency in both Vietnamese and English.
Additional preferences (not required):
Previous relevant experience in Deals work / analysis;
Experience relating to both Vietnamese and foreign companies;
Skills specifically with digital tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
