LOGISTICS OPERATION SUPERVISOR

JOB DESCRIPTION
Key
Responsibilities:
· Advise and provide quotations to customers,
the Sales team, and Key Account team regarding customs clearance procedures and
transportation solutions for shipments.
· Handle arising issues and violations within
the department. Mitigate risks related to the department's operations.
· Supervise import-export documentation
(customs declarations, Certificates of Origin (CO), phytosanitary certificates,
etc.).
· Manage costs, issue invoices to customers,
and monitor the department's Profit & Loss (P&L).
· Oversee service providers related to
operations (loading/unloading, transportation, quarantine services, etc.).
· Review contracts, develop, and update
standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Operations Department, customers,
and partners.
· Verify data on FAST, job costing, and debit
records to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
· Implement projects (quotation preparation,
plan development, etc.) related to the department's services. Monitor
productivity and team efficiency (number of documents, customs declarations
processed, etc.).
· Coordinate and supervise the tasks of the
Documentation Department staff. Manage the field operations (OPS) and
transportation teams to ensure on-time completion of deliveries, pickups, empty
container returns, cut-offs, cargo clearance, and vessel schedules as per the
shipment timeline.
· Collaborate with the Accounting Department to
track receivables, recover payments, and enforce service suspension measures
for clients with overdue payments.
· Provide and conduct technical training
sessions for staff and contractors as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Job
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, Economics,
Logistics, or related fields.
3-5 years of experience in logistics operations,
particularly in customs clearance and freight forwarding. Candidates with
equivalent experience are preferred.
High sense of responsibility, and customer-focused
mindset.
Skills:
Comprehensive knowledge of logistics and customs
regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills in both English and
Vietnamese.
Strong problem-solving, budget management, and team
leadership skills.
