Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, highly organized, and motivated Social Media Intern to join our digital communications team. In this role, you will help amplify our brand presence, engage with a professional B2B audience, and gain hands-on experience in global corporate marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Channels Schedule Management: Develop and maintain a consistent, optimized daily posting schedule across corporate social platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and Facebook, adhering to channel-specific guidelines and peak engagement times.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with editorial, campaign marketing, and
business development teams to ensure social content aligns perfectly with broader company initiatives.
B2B Copywriting: Craft compelling, professional, and highly engaging B2B social media copy utilizing our existing editorial and marketing resources.
Multimedia Production: Support the end-to-end creation, editing, and promotion of multimedia content. Collaborate with the design team to produce and A/B test engaging visual assets, graphics, and video content.
Agile Execution: Adapt to a fast-paced environment by seamlessly handling ad-hoc and short-notice content requests.
Team Leadership: Act as a collaborative guide for other social media contributors, offering programmatic support and fostering a team-oriented environment.
Performance & Development
Data Analysis: Track social metrics and assist the Social Media Lead in preparing comprehensive monthly reports that analyze performance against KPls.
Market Intelligence: Conduct regular competitor and demographic analyses to identify trends and recommend strategic channel improvements.
Social Listening & Brand Safety: Support efforts to monitor brand sentiment, track industry noise, and assist leadership in navigating potential social media crisis managements.
Strategic Innovation: Proactively propose ideas to enhance our overall strategy, from optimizing hashtags and keywords to improving internal processes and content formats.
Growth Opportunities: Scout and evaluate emerging social platforms to expand the reach of our B2B content strategies.
Project Support: Deliver comprehensive digital support for various Dezan Shira & Associates (DSA) and Asia Briefing (AB) projects, strategic partnerships, and global initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Academic Background: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
Digital Fluency: A genuine enthusiasm for the digital landscape, social media trends, and corporate communications.
Exceptional Organization: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work autonomously, multitask efficiently, and consistently meet deadlines.
Commercial Awareness: A solid grasp of, or an active eagerness to learn about, the Asian corporate landscape, specifically regarding business, legal, and tax environments.
Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Hands-on experience with design and video editing software (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite tools like Premiere Pro and Photoshop) is a major advantage.
Communication: Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
Availability: Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule for a duration of 3 to 6 months.
