An exciting job opportunity of a Head of E-Commerce for a beauty & cosmetic brand has arisen in Ho Chi Minh City.
About The Head Of E-Commerce, Role
As the Head of E-Commerce, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire online business of our company. Your primary focus will be on maximising the performance and growth of our brands across various e-commerce platforms. In addition, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities, particularly in the areas of D2C and TikTokShop.
We are open to considering candidates with different levels of expertise and experience, and as such, the job title and scope can be tailored accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy for our company, aligning with the company's objectives and vision
Manage the online profit and loss (P&L) for the organisation, monitoring financial performance and implementing strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
Drive strong growth and performance of our brands on key e-commerce platforms such as Shopee and Lazada, leveraging data-driven insights, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives
Identify and explore new business development opportunities, particularly in the areas of direct-to-consumer (D2C) and TikTokShop, and develop strategies to drive growth and expand market reach
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of e-commerce initiatives with overall business objectives
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour in the e-commerce space, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage
Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to foster a high-performance culture
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus
Proven track record of success in driving e-commerce growth and managing online P&L, preferably within the cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG industry
Strong expertise in e-commerce, including operational knowledge, strategic planning, and execution
Experience in managing brands on major e-commerce platforms such as Shopee and Lazada is highly desirable
Familiarity with other areas of online business, such as TikTokShop, social commerce, and CRM, is an advantage
Demonstrated ability to define and execute e-commerce strategies, work with senior stakeholders, and influence key results and business plans
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and optimise e-commerce performance
Strong leadership and people management abilities, with experience in leading and developing teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
Fluency in English and Vietnamese languages
