YOUR ROLE
Do you have the eye of a bold eagle, the social skills to work and the passion to see process improvements from start to finish? Well, you may be the Logistics Engineer we are looking for.
Working in a permanent, full-time capacity (Mon-Fri, 40 hours / week) based from our offices at Mangere Auckland, your main tasks will be to assist and work with the different regions and industry sectors to systematically evaluate and implement programs designed to eliminate waste while increasing operational efficiency in compliance with the company's Business Process Excellence programs in accordance with CEVA's OHS&E requirements.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Lead and contribute to continuous improvement programs and waste removal
Deliver project improvements with focus on operation re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change
Provide guidance and support through coaching and education to sites; to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities and supporting them to keep on track
Conduct financial tracking and reporting, budgeting, forecasting and accruals
Lead and contribute to continuous improvement programs and waste removal
Conduct financial tracking and reporting, budgeting, forecasting and accruals
Support with system enhancements to continue and improve system efficiencies, quality and reporting
Maintain and manage renewal dates, rise & falls, scope creep, revenue leaks and billing accuracy
Support solution design with input to Business Development & local Contract Logistics Operations).
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Significant experience gained in a logistics engineering role
Tertiary qualification in supply chain / logistics management or related
Experience working in a warehousing / logistics environment
Experience in designing and implementing operational changes and improvements
Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
Trained / accredited in LEAN Green Belt
Intermediate skills in MS office (Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook PowerPoint)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a national police check.
