We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
About the Team
The Search Operations team aims to improve search user experience, contribute significant DAU impact to the products and drive for increase in traffic and GMV.
The Search Ads Ops team is dedicated to evaluating and optimizing search algorithms within search ads. Our team conducts thorough evaluations and investigations to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Additionally, we manage labeling projects to train and refine our models, aiming to improve the relevance and effectiveness of search ads. Our goal is to drive revenue growth while maintaining a high-quality user experience, balancing commercial objectives with user satisfaction. We strive to deliver superior search ads solutions through continuous innovation and meticulous analysis.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.
Our Search Operations team supports our efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content which could include images of violence, animal cruelty, hate speech, violent extremism, or content that exploits or endangers children. The team plays a vital role in analyzing user searches and search strategy optimization to ensure a positive and safe user experience for our community.
What will I be doing?
1. Quality inspection of labeled data on time and ensure the quality;
2. Localize the labelling guidelines, support the guideline training, and align the guideline updates;
3. Conduct calibration meeting with the labelling team in the appeal process: analyze diff cases, record and evaluate their performance, offer solution and suggestion for the current problem to help the team improve the accuracy rate and alignment;
4. Work closely with R&D (Research and Development) and PM (Product Manager) in order to provide feedback on data quality;
Qualifications
What should I bring with me?
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree or above;
Excellent language skills, (Vietnamese & English)'
Learn about search engines, familiar with social media platforms;
An in-depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of local users;
Strong ability to learn and understand;
Familiar with common office software.
Preferred Qualification
Overseas working/training is a plus;
Labeling experience is preferred.
