Job Profile Summary
As the People & Culture (P&C) team moves into embracing agile ways of working, the P&C Advisor is a key member of the of Asia Pacific Consulting agile team. The P&C Advisor will work in project and/or business squads supporting business priorities. These team are self-organizing, aligned behind a mission and understand how they are expected to deliver value. May serve as a squad leader/product owner to deliver people & culture project deliverables.

Key Accountabilities
Operate as a flexible partnering team that can shift focus based on agreed priorities
Member of business and/or project squads
When working in a business squad:
Develops a deep understanding of the business and focuses on driving and delivering organisational change initiatives as appropriate.
Drives delivery of agreed people priorities through the self-organised team
Delivers people & culture advisory support to senior leaders and responds to employee concerns in partnership with embedded partner
Provides and interprets people data insights in support of agreed priorities
Interprets site/location specific P&C policies and processes
In countries or sites where not performed by the employee/line manager directly with services & solutions: manages people data, provides people reports to the business, actions changes to P&C systems, supports embedded partner in administration of local legislative requirements, responds to P&C policy and Reward questions
Receives day-to-day direction from squad lead/product owner
Increases own agile knowledge and practices as well as being comfortable to learn through doing, supported by a growth mindset
Executes projects and activities within the client group people plan to support delivery of the business strategy
Supports line managers in assessing talent, having effective career conversations and identifying critical roles, facilitating calibration, succession and action planning and ensuring individual actions from talent review are completed and monitored
Stays up to date with external legal context to pre-empt employee relations (ER) issues and support line managers in managing informal and formal ER cases, driving robust and fair outcomes
Implement the organization's compensation and benefit programmes and activities to meet the organization's objectives with regards to internal equity and external market competitiveness
Programmes may include: job evaluation/classification; payroll administration; employee benefits administration (e.g., health, insurance, perquisites, pension, salary packaging; retirement, pension, share value plan, sharematch, and superannuation plans etc).
Liaise with managers to develop and implement local compensation strategies that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization's overall reward strategy
Analyze and evaluate external market data as well as internal data about the organization's current employee population and future human resource needs in order to develop salary budgets and forecasts that are consistent with the organization's reward strategy
Manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and suppliers (e.g., insurance carriers, benefit providers) to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service
Ensure reward activities within established budgets and the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards
Provide monthly reports to internal departments (such as pension, staff cost, share match, etc), and external authorities (PIT, Labor reports, Social Insurance etc)
Assist HRM in handling employee relations issues in accordance with local labor law
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human resources, or in Accounting, equivalent
Fluent Vietnamese & English
Sound knowledge and experiences in rewards
Good understanding of Viet Nam laws (incl. labor/ tax/social insurance laws).
Solid understanding and demonstrated experience of leadership development and coaching, reward, talent management, performance management, recruitment and selection, on-boarding and off-boarding i.e. all aspects of the employee lifecycle
Sound knowledge of employment law, P&C best practice and employee/industrial relations
