Are you an experienced finance leader with excellent collaboration skills and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment?
This is a significant role with end to end finance responsibility for LEGO® Asia Manufacturing.
As the new Head of Finance Asia Manufacturing, you will be end-to-ended financial responsible for the setup of our new LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam factory and have financial leadership and oversight of our factory in Jiaxing, China.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end performance of the manufacturing sites in line with the set strategic direction. This includes setting the annual targets, reporting and performance managing in accordance with the agreed targets. Furthermore, you will be partnering with the General Manager and Senior Vice President of Asia Manufacturing to deliver operational excellence, the capacity expansion plan we have for the two sites and secure compliant operations. The ideal candidate comes with manufacturing and supply chain finance experience and shown track record of effective collaboration, partnering and leadership.
This role will be working temporarily at LEGO temporary office in District 1, HCMC and be relocated to Binh Duong in 2024.

Core responsibilities:
We seek an experienced individual who has proven the ability to excel in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment. The position will play a vital role in the following areas:
• Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to drive operational excellence including continuous improvement and secure compliant operations. Specifically, for the LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam project.
• Lead setup of core financial processes and reporting. Lead and drive the overall financial planning and performance management of the project including reporting and forecasting.
• Ensuring evaluation of investment decisions in line with the strategic direction and cases.
• Drive the local execution of the core financial processes, reporting and performance management.
• Ensure we follow the LEGO ways of working including securing compliant operations and the needed controls are in place.
• Setting up the team to support the execution of project and later the growth of the business.
• Together with the leadership team embed the company's culture.
• Lead, inspire and develop the finance team to deliver the company and business priorities.
• Partner with the relevant CFO Organisation teams (locally and globally) to ensure strong collaboration to deliver on the operational tasks of the business, legal entity governance and ensuring relevant controls are in place.

• Strong professional toolbox developed through 10+ years of finance experience with significant part of this in the capacity of finance business partnering.
• Experience into manufacturing and supply chain processes
• Experience in driving legal entity stewardship and compliance.
• Superb skills in continuous improvement and relationship-building
• Experience in leading, inspiring and developing individuals and teams
• Ability to work with ambiguity as many aspects of the role need to be global in scope but local in execution.
• Ability to understand business needs and put relevant interventions/tools/processes to play in a value adding way.
• Natural leadership abilities, with proven sound judgment, superior critical thinking and decision-making skills

Nhà máy này đã hoàn thành 26% tổng khối lượng xây dựng trong giai đoạn 1 và sẽ có 4.000 việc làm mới được tạo ra trong vòng 15 năm tới. Tập đoàn này đang tiến thêm một bước để hướng đến việc hoàn thành xây dựng nhà máy trị giá 1,3 tỷ USD tại Việt Nam. Ngoài ra, Lego cũng đang chuẩn bị lao động, nhân sự để vận hành nhà máy và dự kiến sẽ có khoảng 100 người được tuyển dụng trong những tháng cuối năm 2023 và tăng lên 500 người trong năm 2024 để đảm bảo đi vào sản xuất trong nửa cuối năm 2024.
Số lao động được tuyển dụng để vận hành nhà máy dự kiến nâng lên tới 4.000 người, tạo ra việc làm và nguồn thu đáng kể cho ngân sách.
