Head of Material Handling

* Objective of job
• Responsible for the formulation, implementation and improvement of related businesses in production logistics area to ensure smooth production
• Responsible for personnel management, personnel development and personnel training within the department to ensure the achievement of performance
• Responsible for cross-departmental cooperation and coordination to ensure effective inter-departmental
* Principle activities:
• Responsible for asset management in production logistic area
• Responsible for monitoring the inbound, outbound and warehouse transfer of production materials, ensuring that the accounts are consistent, organizing inventory control implementation and inventory regularly.
• 5S management
• Make supervising and implementing the protection process for customer property (including raw materials, finished and semi-finished products, etc.) during in-plant
• Assist in the handling of unqualified products (including expired materials) on site after delivery from warehouse.
• Assisting in the implementation of quality improvement measures related to production logistics
• Responsible for production logistic process and work instruction definition, responsible for arranging and managing the timeliness of all relevant actions of production logistics
• Responsible for managing and supervising the safety of the on-site logistics area to ensure that employees comply with safety-related requirements; promptly discover potential safety hazards and notify relevant departments
• Responsible for the management and configuration of production logistics staff, formulate training plans and personnel development plans, and evaluate staff performance
• Responsible for driving continuous improvement of production logistics
• Follow and ensure FIFO
• Ensure the accuracy production logistic related system data
• Responsible for the management of identification and material accuracy from incoming material to finished product shipment
• Responsible for formulating and complying with relevant packaging, transportation, and labeling standards in the plant
* Special authorizations (e.g. powers of attorney, guidelines competence, authorities, information rights, references to legal or standards-relevant authorized representatives, etc.)
• The right to scrap, transfer and sign the assets of production logistic
• The right to evaluate staff performance of production logistic
• The right to approve the process and management regulations of production logistic
• The right to budget and control cost of production logistic
• The right to shifts arrangement plan of production logistic
• The authority to check attendance and discipline the staff in the department
