Our client, a market leader in their field, is seeking a supply chain professional with at least 10 years of experience and good commercial mindset for the job of Supply Chain Director. The job is open for candidates in Ho Chi Minh, Binh Duong and Dong Nai.
Job Summary:
Reporting to CEO, you will work closely with other department and external stakeholders to ensure that all production-related supply chain operation is compliant with international and country rules.
Job Responsibilities:
· Build and implement supply chain process that support company strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business prospects, or cost cutting strategies.
· Provide leadership to the Operations team and responsible for all aspects of logistics to ensure adequate and efficient planning and demand fulfillment of critical items and materials for ongoing activities.
· Lead demand reviews with commercial and finance to offer high-quality sales forecasts in a timely manner, to make sure proper production planning.
· Manage budget planning and best cost to serve dispatch plans, as well as analyze and recommend initiatives/actions to improve best cost to serve while maximizing the use of corporate assets to fulfill customer demand.
· Ascertain that the supply of materials matches the demand in order to improve best cost while maximizing the use of corporate assets to fulfill customer demand.
· Develop Supply Chain best practices and future technologies, as well as planning system standardization and improvement initiatives and supplier management initiatives. Examine the influence of future systems technology solutions on the supply chain, as well as rollout methods.
