Qualification (Educational): Graduate / Post Graduate Engineering in Computer Science from premier engineering Institutes

Location Country: India

Years of Experience:

20+

Skill Sets Required:

Graduate / Post Graduate Engineering in Computer Science from premier engineering institutes of global ranking.
Should have minimum 20+ years of experience in architecture, design and development of highly scalable software products & applications.
Should have worked on test automation on SQL Stored Procedures and also managed teams doing testing on Java/C#, angular/React, technologies etc
Should have used modern Test automation and Test management tools, modern test frameworks and methodologies.
Should have managed a test team of more than 200 testers - automation and manual
Should have minimum 3 years experience in Product testing

Roles & Responsibilities:

Job Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Product Testing to lead our quality assurance efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable products to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing testing strategies, managing a team of testers, and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Product Testing group - across the 6 products and the customizations involved in implementation.
Achieve test coverage, defect leakage, test productivity and schedule targets for releases across all 6 products.
Define the test strategy and test plan and track execution to budget and schedule
Work with the cross functional Product Development team comprising of R&D, Software Architecture & Product Design, Software development and Product Management.
Implement new testing methodologies, best practices, frameworks and tools to raise testing effectiveness/product quality and productivity.
Strong leader with effective communication to lead the team, coach employees and create a high-performance Testing team.
Work with development on defect management and re-testing
Track and report the numbers around Testing plan, progress, defects, re-test, coverage, leakage, productivity
