JOB DESCRIPTION
GEM Corporation is looking for a PR & Internal Communication Executive that can provide support to the generation of planned/ reactive content for PR & Internal Communications workstreams. The successful candidate would also work with a variety of internal/ external stakeholders and assist the management of the company's communications with external and internal stakeholders, including the media.
Public Relations (External communications)
Work closely with marketing team to plan PR campaigns and strategies
Supporting the development of blog posts, PR articles, press releases, newsletters, social media copy and other thought leadership content
Developing and managing key digital channels, including website and social media channels
Work closely with marketing teammates and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate our service's core benefits properly and consistently
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar
Support event organization, including but not limited to Webinars, Online/offline Exhibitions, Sponsor events
Internal Communications
Work with internal stakeholders to plan and create internal communications content for a variety of events (e.g., onboarding new member, birthday parties, monthly talk shows, team building activities)
Use the email and identified social media channels to support communications with internal staff audience
Conduct periodic surveys to leverage audience feedback into future content generation and event organization

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's in marketing, communications, journalism, or related discipline
1-2 years of experience in a similar position
Excellent command of spoken and written English
Outstanding communications and project management abilities
Ability to balance multiple tasks for several projects at the same time
Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
Detail-oriented, proactive, and innovative

Probation salary is 100% of official salary
