Duration: 3 to 6 months
Primary Duties (including but not limited
to):
Marketing Support:
Research
legal, tax, and finance topics in Vietnam;
Write
articles about foreign direct investment (FDI) in Vietnam for Asia
Briefing and its regional subsidiaries; and
Create
various marketing materials as needed.
International Business Advisory (IBA) team assistance:
Support
business development and account management efforts;
Help
coordinate potential client meetings and document discussions;
Develop
PowerPoint presentations, proposals, and engagement contracts for
potential clients;
Carry
out client development-focused research projects;
Attend
client development events as a representative of Dezan Shira &
Associates;
Design
and execute individual research projects, producing well-written reports;
Research
and engage with local business organizations for collaboration and
partnership opportunities;
Customer
Relationship Management; and
Perform
administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Excellent
English and Mandarin Chinese writing and speaking abilities;
Proficiency
in an additional European or Asian language is highly desirable
Strong
communication skills and a desire to meet and interact with business
professionals
Familiarity
with tax, accounting, law, and foreign investment;
Business
development and sales experience;
Attention
to detail, a sense of responsibility, and a commitment to teamwork o
Interest in the Asian business and investment climate;
A
proactive worker with demonstrated initiative;
Graduation
from or current enrollment in a university degree program, preferably in a
business-related major, accounting, or law (desirable but not required).
