The Livestream Host Leader is responsible for leading and delivering high-performing livestream sessions that drive audience engagement, brand awareness, and sales conversion. This role combines on-camera hosting, content strategy, and team leadership to ensure livestreams are effective.
The position oversees the planning, execution, and optimization of livestream activities, while guiding a team of hosts and support staff to maintain consistent quality and performance. As the face of the brand during live sessions, the Livestream Host Leader plays a key role in building customer trust, enhancing user experience, and achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coordination:
• Lead and manage the host management team, ensuring optimal performance and motivation.
• Train and mentor junior hosts or new team members.
• Ensure smooth communication during live sessions.
Content Planning & Strategy:
• Plan livestream topics, scripts, and flow.
• Coordinate campaign calendar, promotions, inventory and key messages.
• Analyze trends (e.g., viral formats, audience preferences).
• Optimize timing, duration, and structure for better engagement.
Operational Oversight:
• Coordinate day-to-day host management activities, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Develop and implement processes to enhance host performance and service quality.
Host Support:
• Act as a point of contact for hosts, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure hosts have the necessary resources and tools to succeed.
Performance Monitoring & Improvement:
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on team and host performance.
• Review livestream recordings to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Adjust hosting style and content based on analytics.
• Conduct post-stream debriefs with the team.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams on target to align host management activities with company objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
On-Camera Hosting & Content Delivery:
• Lead livestream sessions (01 session/day).
• Present products clearly and persuasively.
• Engage the audience through storytelling and interaction.
• Maintain high energy and professionalism throughout the stream.
• Handle live Q&A, comments, and audience concerns in real time.
• 1-3+ years in livestream hosting or content creation, experience in e-commerce or
digital marketing is a plus
• Experience leading or supervising a team, ability to train, coach, and motivate junior hosts
• Have knowledge about skincare and cosmetics, especially the dermocosmetic segment
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Analytical & Performance-Driven Mindset: ability to read and interpret livestream metrics (views, CTR, conversion rate), data-driven approach to improving performance, experience optimizing content based on audience behavior
• Technical Awareness: basic understanding of livestream tools and platforms, familiar with setup, ability to handle minor technical issues during live sessions
• Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, campaign days)
