Hotel Accountant

Escarpment Group encapsulates the essence of regional luxury travel in Australia. With substantial growth in intrastate travel for leisure, conferences, and events, we are looking for full time Hotel Accountants for our Office in Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam to support our Accounts team in Australia.
This is a great opportunity for Hotel Accountants with English communication skills looking for an opportunity to work in purely English environment
- Daily credit card and general ledger reconciliations for our hotels in Australia.
- Oversee the accurate completion of the month-end process.
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for the Hotels.
- Focus on performance analyses and consequent process improvements.
- To undertake the day-to-day functions of the Accounting Department to ensure all accounting functions including payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable are carried out in a timely & efficient manner.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of statutory financial information to the Group Financial Controller.
- To assist and support the Financial Controller in ensuring the Hotel profit targets are achieved through the control and monitoring of costs.
- Ensure Hotel internal controls are maintained, and management policy & procedures are upheld by working with all Heads of Department; and
- Assist the Financial Controller in preparation of weekly & monthly management reports.
