The Ideal Candidate: The HR General Team Lead is responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR Operations while acting as a strategic HR Business Partner to department heads and the CEO.
This role requires strong agility, strategic thinking, and solid knowledge of labor laws across multiple markets (Vietnam, US, SEA). It goes beyond operational HR and demands the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and leverage AI/tools to improve efficiency.
I. RESPONSIBILITIES:1. HR Business Partner (Core Focus)
Act as a strategic HR partner to
business leaders across functions
Work closely with Heads/Managers to:
Understand business goals, challenges, and workforce needs
Translate business strategy into people strategy and actionable plans
Provide advisory on:
Organizational design and team structure
Performance management and talent decisions
Proactively identify people-related risks and opportunities within each business unit
Partner directly with the CEO on organizational planning and key people decisions
2. Strategy & Organizational Development
Develop and drive HR strategies aligned with company growth and expansion
Design and continuously improve frameworks for:
Performance management
Compensation & Benefits (at a strategic level)
Organizational structure and workforce planning
Lead organizational development initiatives to improve team effectiveness
3. HR Operations (Oversight & Optimization)
Oversee and ensure effective execution of:
Attendance tracking, payroll, bonuses, commissions
Social insurance and personal income tax (PIT)
Labor contracts and employee records
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of all HR operations
Collaborate with internal teams or vendors to ensure smooth execution
Standardize and optimize HR processes with a focus on automation and scalability
4. Employee Relations & Compliance
Oversee and handle employee relations cases (disciplinary actions, disputes, exits, restructuring, etc.)
Advise managers on labor law, risk mitigation, and best practices
Ensure compliance with labor regulations across multiple markets
5. Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the HR team
Delegate execution while maintaining high standards of output
Build a scalable HR function to support fast-growing, multi-market operations
6. Report & Management
Manage, train, monitor, and guide the development of HR team members.
Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR reports and forecasts to the Board of Directors.
Manage, archive, and report HR data and metrics.
Address investor inquiries related to HR matters.
II. REQUIREMENTS:1. Experience
Minimum 4-6 years in HR, including:
At least 2 years in a Lead/Manager role
Preferred background in:
E-commerce or Retail (especially with strong online operations)
Fast-scaling, multi-market environments

Compensation & Benefits (payroll, tax, insurance)
Labor law (Vietnam; international exposure is a plus)
