Role Purpose
The MMV HR Generalist is responsible for day-to-day HR operations for Maison Marou stores in the assigned region, covering recruitment, onboarding, contract management, employee engagement, and HR administrative support.
This role ensures compliance with company and legal requirements, provides timely HR services, and contributes to a positive, engaged, and high-performing store workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Plan and execute recruitment for store positions, ensuring sufficient headcount and timely fulfillment.
- Source, screen, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers to maintain candidate quality.
- Ensure the onboarding process for new employees runs smoothly, creating a positive experience.
- Support probation evaluation procedures and ensure timely completion of assessments.
Employee Data & Contract Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal data, job details, contract status, and HR documentation.
- Prepare, issue, and collect signatures for all contracts (probationary, labor, renewals, appendices) in a timely and compliant manner.
- Monitor contract expiry dates and work with managers to ensure performance reviews and contract decisions are completed on time.
- Update HRIS and shared databases with personnel movements (new hires, promotions, transfers, resignations).
- Safeguard employee data in compliance with company policies, confidentiality standards, and legal requirements.
- Support audits and compliance checks by providing complete and accurate employee files when required.
C&B Coordination
- Verify and validate monthly attendance data; coordinate with Operations to resolve discrepancies.
- Track personnel movements (hires, transfers, resignations) and ensure accurate data for payroll processing.
- Register approved cash benefits (e.g., marriage, giving birth, hospitalization, bereavement, special allowances) into the HR/payroll system accurately and on time for monthly payroll processing.
Employee Engagement & Support
- Foster a positive, respectful, and motivating work environment aligned with Marou's values and cultural expectations.
- Address employee concerns or issues in a fair, transparent, and timely manner.
- Support store-level engagement initiatives aimed at building connection, recognition, and team spirit.
- Provide clear guidance on HR policies, benefit entitlements, medical insurance plans, and company procedures.
HR Reporting & Projects
- Consolidate HR data and prepare routine reports to support management decision-making and compliance requirements.
- Participate in HR projects related to store operations, performance review cycles, and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience, proposing practical solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR operations for retail, F&B, hospitality, or similar environments.
- Solid understanding of Vietnam labor law, social insurance procedures, and basic C&B practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Conversational English skills.
- High sense of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a multi-store retail environment.
- Familiarity with HR best practices in the F&B industry.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Experience with HR digital transformation initiatives.
