My client is looking to hire a responsible HRBP to develop, implement and execute HR plans that support the business and drive business value through talent management and employee engagement.
This role reports directly to Country Manager of Vietnam and functionally to Regional HR Director.
Description
KEY TASKS
1. Performance Management (Performance Development Review (PDR), Annual Salary Review (ASR), Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)) * Plan and implement PDR initiatives/campaigns for the year as advised by Leadership team
* Lead & facilitate PDR calibration sessions with Country Manager
* Ensure team understand the PDR framework
* Manage performance issues with line managers - conduct intervention session, propose solution
2. Employee Relations (Engagement activities, employee inquiries)
* Managing, providing advice, and giving guidance to clients on all employee-related matters such as recruitment, grievance/dispute, employment legislation
* Support/ lead any employee engagement activities as per company plan ensuring team proximity and engagement level remain high
* Have 1-to-1 session with managerial level to understand their work, business, and propose solutions
* Building authentic relationships with employees
3. Talent Management (Recruitment, Resignation, Talent Development, Learning)
Recruitment:
* Manpower planning: identify hiring needs
* Work with hiring manager to create job descriptions
* Evaluate job description and aligned with Regional HRD
* Interview shortlisted candidates
* Coordinate partial recruitment activity with Regional Talent team for managerial hiring
* Monthly report updates to Regional Talent Team on non-managerial hiring
* Draft salary proposal and advise packages to be offered to new hires
* Responsible for on-boarding process such as Welcome email, work with hiring manager on onboarding schedule, calendar invite, informing the team, etc
Resignation:
* Conducts exit interview; summarizes and analyses the results/ feedbacks as well as identifies the root causes and areas for improvement with the solutions
* Ensure exit checklist completed before releasing salary
Talent Development - Talent Review & Development Conversation
* Coordinate and implement Talent Review and Development Conversation sessions as advised by Regional Talent team
* Understand functional career book, facilitate career plan with line manager
Learning
* Conduct learning analysis for the team and identify learning programs
* Coordinate learning programs with Regional Head of Learning
* Ensure learning budget recorded and update Regional Finance team
* Record team learning hours
4. HR/Team Communications
* Prepare and ensure accuracy of announcement of new employee and employee movement
* Prepare communications as and when necessary e.g. Special Public Holiday announcement, vaccination/booster shot, support/assistance from company to employees
* Follow up, communicates, the company's performance management system (PDR)
5. Stakeholder Management
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the team, Country Manager, and other Key stakeholders involving people related matters
6. Budgeting
* Plans, manages and monitors manpower planning, coordinating and performing staffing strategy
* Work with Country Manager and Regional HRD on:
i. People cost simulations,
ii. Salary proposals,
iii. Promotion proposals,
iv. Annual Salary Review
v. Rolling forecast (following year people cost)
* Collaborate with Indochina Finance team in ensuring cost is within budget and update them on costing whenever necessary
7. International Mobility
* Managing the operational workload for expats on mobility such as monthly salary advice, allowances, home leave, housing, car leasing, work permits, storage fees, etc. (work closely with Company International Mobility team)
* Tracking the expenses for expats according to their entitlements in contract
8. Projects
* P&C projects as and when required, working closely with Country Manager of Vietnam and Reginal HRD
* Annually review JD and update when there is change

CAPABILITY PROFILE - Required Background
Education
* Possess a recognized degree or equivalent in any field. A higher degree will be desirable
Experience & Knowledge
* Minimum 5 years experience in HRBP or relevant role
* Human Resource Management experience in a fast moving consumer goods/start up/multi-national business environment is an advantage
* MS Office
* English proficiency
* Experience in motivating and transforming key personnel and employees of the company into high performance team.
Required Personal Attributes
* Strong communication, including written and spoken English
* Discretion and confidentiality
* Proactive, good follow through and results oriented
* Independent, able to be resourceful with minimal supervision
* Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
* Detail oriented in ensuring task are done properly
* Time management skills
