Hub APMEA PT Engineering Quality Specialist

Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Hub APMEA Engineering Quality Specialist, location in Thailand or Vietnam (Hub APMEA region). This role is responsible for being charge of Transformers engineering quality in Hub APMEA reporting directly to the Hub APMEA Engineering Quality Manager. In addition to the specialist duties, the Hub APMEA Engineering Quality Specialist will participate actively in the definition and execution of the improvement engineering quality together within engineering function in Hub APMEA and other Hubs including GPG, BU and other functions.
Your responsibilities
Execute process of DFMEA for both training and practical application, need to identify of critical to Quality engineering deliverables, enhance the review culture, processes and methods.
Execute design reviews with designers for selected designs.
Execute design reviews with customer for selected designs.
Improve design control mechanisms, such as design check points, design reviews within engineering and with other parties like operation and customer (evaluate design input, processes and design output)
Develops and improves design processes to increase design quality.
Assis Hub engineering quality manager to improve engineering quality through engineering KPIs. Ensure engineering quality KPIs are updated, tracked, analyzed and actions.
Being engineering representative to test failures and field failures RCAs, to work with other functions as requested.
Secure verification and validation practices are effective, such as Quality inspection cards, EoCs and Test results.
Assure engineering processes are fit for purpose as required by customers and international standards. Ensures Engineering function for Hub APMEA Transformers delivers with high quality, on time and on budget meeting the success criteria specification,
Support Design Anywhere and Produce Anywhere process changes related to quality.
Execute Engineering X-Matrix related to quality projects.
Support for internal and external audits to engineering department.
Support the Implement the latest design quality checklist and technical standards.
Support to reduce design mistakes and cost of poor quality related to engineering.
Support to Organizing monthly design mistake sharing and knowledge management.
Ensures appropriate quality competencies are developed and available in Hub APMEA engineering according to current and future market requirements.

Your background
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Previous experience in transformers engineering minimum 20 years.
Previous experience in design reviews
Previous experience in test failure root cause analysis
Previous experience in field failure root cause analysis
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively lead, manage, and energize cross-functional teams across multiple sites with good leadership and communication skills.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with internal customers at all organizational levels.
