Import Operations Executive (Logistics/Forwarding)

IMPORT OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE (LOGISTICS/FORWARDING)

Job Description
• Handle and monitor import shipments (Sea/Air), including FCL/LCL, ensuring SOP compliance.
• Receive shipment details from overseas agents, customers, and sales teams.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, and agents to update schedules.
• Prepare and process import documentation (Arrival Notice, D/O, manifest, invoice, packing list, etc.).
• Ensure smooth customs clearance coordination, working closely with customs brokers.
• Review and verify shipment details including HS codes and import requirements.
• Apply Incoterms correctly in handling shipments and cost allocation.
• Track incoming shipments and coordinate with trucking and warehouse teams.
• Handle issues proactively (delay, missing documents, local charges, disputes, etc.).
• Notify customers of arrivals and support documentation/inquiries.
• Verify costs, issue Debit Notes/Invoices, and follow up on payments.
• Maintain accurate shipment data in the system.
• Support customer service and handle complaints when required.
