To ensure
purchasing effectiveness in term of quality, quantity and cost for the assigned commodities
Closely work with MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) planner and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) purchasing supervisor and related departments to ensure JIT of MRO purchased items;
To develop new vendors to reduce MRO purchasing cost;
Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance;
Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time;
Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment;
Coordinate with MRO planner to build an appropriate inventory levels for certain MRO stock room;
Involved in writing up purchasing contracts;
Works on various projects and teams to improve quality, productivity, cost, and safety.
