Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Vietnamese fluently to communicate with and serve key stakeholders in the market.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in sales leadership, managing high performing teams, and driving transformational business growth.
  • Experience managing and influencing executive or C-level clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive results in a multinational matrixed organization.
  • Brand building experience and ability to work with internal and external partners across several cultures and geographies.
  • Experience as a thought leader, building trusted relationships internally and externally, with ability to influence key decisions and drive consensus on key priorities.
About the job

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
In this role, you will influence and lead Sales and cross-functional teams to drive a growing ecosystem for the Vietnam market. You'll collaborate and work cross-functionally and cross-country to bring together the team for each client in the Retail, Telco, and Conglomerates industries to develop long-term, strategic relationships.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Responsibilities
  • Develop roadmap, strategy, and manage execution across the team to fully unlock potential with customers. Develop a deep understanding of business needs of industry advertisers, and provide insights into relevant consumer behaviour to deliver on growth-driving initiatives.
  • Create and execute business growth strategies, annual and account plans, and business processes for assigned vertical. Establish and maintain C-level relationships with customers and agencies and advocate for Google solutions.
  • Build and manage a team to deliver complex business-centric solutions and create a culture of business innovation and client success on the team. Coach, motivate, inspire, and develop a team of Industry Managers, Account Managers, and cross-functional resources.
  • Represent Google as a keynote speaker at industry events, developing Google's brand and identifying prospective partners.
