Inspection Engineer (Work Location Thanh Hóa)

The responsibility of the Inspection Engineer as a minimum shall consist of the followings:
Identify susceptible locations need to be inspected and make up it on the related drawings.
Identify suitable inspection method for each susceptible location.
Planning for doing the inspection at site in PCMS- RBI software.
Prepare inspection resources.
Implementation the inspection at site.
Prepare inspection reports in PCMS- RBI software.
Prepare and issue work request, work order in CMMS-Maximo, prepare the necessary condition for Contractor(s) to execute the inspection.
Familiarity and understanding of principle and operation of units in relation to technology process. Review the design drawings and comment on material selection, piping integrity, assembly, and corrosion mitigation.
Checks calculation of retiring thickness and predicts remaining life, check calculations for determining permissible working pressure and temperature, and prepares the required action to update the inspection plan.
Analyze inspection findings/abnormal conditions and recommended remedial measures for incident.
Develop the inspection plan for unplanned shutdown or as required by Vietnamese regulation.
Site survey to confirm the plan is followed up. Cooperate with inspection member control to report the progress to Senior Inspector and Inspection leader.
Support Senior Inspector to generate shutdown inspection work list for plant turnaround. Carry out inspections as scheduled.
Study the inspection procedures/practices. Review/edit inspection reports when required and ensures that inspection records are well maintained.
Fully comply with NSRP regulations in Health, Safety and Environment Management.
Participate in root cause analysis and may lead (RCA)
Perform other related duties as directed by Inspection Manager/Leader
