Investment Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Modelling
Building and maintenance of financial models for renewable energy projects.
Assist in evaluating investment returns, financing options, and project economics.
Prepare sensitivity analyses and valuation summaries to support investment decisions.
Transaction Execution and Preparation of Presentation Materials
Assist in ongoing project financing and M&A transactions in Vietnam and other markets if required, including financial modelling, due diligence coordination and information management.
Prepare materials for lenders, investors, and internal investment committees.
Review and summarize key commercial and financing terms.
Maintain organized records of assumptions, analyses, and transaction documents for internal review and audit purposes.
Market & Economic Analysis
Keep up to date on market developments and maintain strong relationships with external parties like lenders and other sponsors.
Analyze country-level economic indicators and regulatory environments relevant to project development and investment.
Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with internal teams (finance, legal, technical) to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Liaise with external advisors, banks, and partners for document circulation and follow-ups.
Maintain trackers and summaries of ongoing financing and acquisition workstreams.
Reporting & Documentation
Assist in debt portfolio reporting and management if required.
Monitoring and reporting of performance of operating portfolio.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in investment analysis, renewable energy finance, M&A and project finance. Exceptional fresh graduates can be considered.
Candidates with strong financial modelling skills will be preferred.
Knowledge of project finance structures, M&A process, Vietnam's renewable energy market will be highly beneficial.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to manage multiple projects and financing arrangements simultaneously.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Language requirements: Fluency in Vietnamese and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
