IT Security & Network Engineer

1. Role Overview
As a core member of IBK Vietnam IT team, you will manage the bank's network infrastructure and enforce robust security policies. Your primary responsibility is to translate regulatory requirements into technical security controls, ensuring that all network and security configurations strictly comply with internal policies and local financial laws.
2. Key Responsibilities:
• Security Policy & Governance (Core):
- Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with SBV Circular 09.
- Define and manage Network Access Control (NAC) and Firewall policies to maintain strict network segmentation (DMZ, Internal, Database zones).
- Establish security hardening standards for network devices, servers, and endpoints.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and monitor privileged account activities.
• Security Operations & Incident Response:
- Administer and manage policies for Next-Gen Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, and DLP solutions.
- Lead responses to cyber security incidents (Detection, Containment, Root Cause Analysis).
- Coordinate regular vulnerability assessments and manage remediation actions.
- Coordinate and oversee third-party Penetration Testing (Pen-testing).
• Network Infrastructure Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain the bank's internal/external network (L2/L3 Switching, Routing, VLAN).
- Manage and optimize secure connectivity (VPN, etc.) between HQ, branches, and Data Centers.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability (HA) for core banking services.
• Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure all configurations comply with SBV Circular 09/2020 and other local regulations.
- Develop technical documentation and gather evidence for IT audits and security inspections.
- Conduct regular network/security health checks and reporting.
