ABOUT THE JOB
Lead a team of Java developers in designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications specific to the insurance domain
Gather requirements from stakeholders and plan the work following agile guidelines, with a focus on insurance industry needs
Propose, discuss with stakeholders, prioritize, and sign-off on technical debt items related to insurance software development
Ensure the timely and effective delivery of high-quality software solutions tailored to the insurance domain
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and software architects, to align development efforts with insurance industry requirements
Oversee the development and implementation of Java-based applications for insurance processes and products
Monitor and report on the progress of insurance-specific projects to stakeholders
Conduct requirement analyses and develop high-quality and detailed designs for insurance-related software solutions
Conduct unit testing using automated unit test frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of insurance applications
Identify risks specific to insurance processes and conduct mitigation action planning
Review the work of other developers and provide feedback, with a focus on insurance domain best practices
Act as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to insurance-related projects

Yêu cầu công việc

ABOUT YOU
Academic Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical major
More than 4 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong focus on both backend and frontend technologies
Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of software developers
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
Proficiency in modern Java frameworks and technologies for both backend (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot) and frontend (e.g., React, Angular) development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to gather requirements, plan work, and prioritize tasks based on project needs
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience in the insurance domain is highly preferred
