We are looking for a highly motivated Indirect Procurement Buyer to join our team! The Indirect Procurement Buyer plays an integral role by developing and implementing solid sourcing strategies while partnering with stakeholders, anticipating risk, identifying key areas of opportunity to drive growth and efficiencies by selecting core suppliers and validating they provide optimal cost, quality and other measurable deliverables.

What you will do:

• Source and select suppliers, negotiate prices and contracts, recommend purchases to obtain the best possible value while adhering to quality specifications and business requirements.

• Develop spend management strategies for repeated purchases using Colgate-Palmolive's seven step sourcing process.

• Lead strategic business relationships, internally and externally, to ensure the alignment of sourcing solutions with critical business requirements.

• Ensure the organization receives superior service, quality, and innovation while achieving financial goals.

• Gain a comprehensive industry knowledge of standard methodologies, processes, and technology trends to proactively adjust sourcing strategy.

• Use metrics and eProcurement tools to optimize sourcing processes: sourcing application to execute competitive bid events (Requests for proposals (RFP), Request for Quotes (RFQ), and reverse auctions).

• Lead the development, negotiation and implementation of contract agreements with suppliers.

• Take a leadership role in identifying, planning and implementing simplification and/or savings projects.

• Work with team members, cross-functional business partners, and suppliers to develop and monitor project plans to ensure sourcing projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Actively participates in global procurement initiatives.

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Complies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or relevant BS Degree

• At least 2 years in Procurement

• Intermediate-advanced in English

• Proved experience in Procurement

• Good communication skills

• Good Computer Skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Office)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in a relevant field

• Basic understanding of procurement, spend category management and project management methodologies, and e-procurement processes.

• Knowledge in eProcurement Tools

• Experience in international companies purchasing goods & services for marketing and commercial areas (for ex: POP material, Media, e-commerce, influencers services and merchandising)

• SAP, Ariba
