The New Product Development (NPD) Engineer takes ownership of providing the project management in collaboration with Marketing, R&D, Procurement and manufacturing teams to craft, develop and implement new product/ new materials and new molds, to enable Colgate - Palmolive to meet strategic business goals. Besides, this position leads margin improvement and simplification/ sustainability projects that supports global new product grid and sustainability roadmap. During the management of those projects, they also look after researching alternative materials and technology to achieve the goals of projects.

This position is a valuable member of the Technical services team, to ensure delivery of business results in his/her area. He/ she will work within a structure that requires considerable connection with other plant's functions, guide and empower teams in implementing Plant strategy. Detailed duties are as below:

Responsible for all aspects of project management: project planning, change control, capital expenditure management, and technology transfer associated with new materials, and new products. These new materials might include resins, colorants, bristles, anchor wires and other kind of materials made up the toothbrushes.
Collaborate with the technology/ material suppliers contracted by the company to ensure the quality, cost and delivery targets
Support the qualification, technology transfer processes and readiness for mass production.
Assists the suppliers on the design, fabrication, and implementation of the unit molds/commercial molds, tufting tooling items.
Works closely with the manufacturing teams and with the suppliers in solving technical problems and improving efficiency.

What we require:

University degree in Mechanical, Material Science, Industrial Design or other related fields.
English language proficiency

What we prefer:

Your practical experience in product development projects counts!
Knowledge of injection moldings will be a plus.
Skills of basic coding/ data analytics.
Passion for continuous learning and adopting new technology
