The Experience

In today's dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Customer Service & Logistics team at Colgate. Our highly energetic and focused Team is dedicated to driving growth for Colgate Palmolive and in this ever-changing landscape.

What role will you play as a member of the Colgate Palmolive's Customer Service & Logistics Team?

This position is responsible for the timely and most cost-efficient delivery of all sales orders to the customers.

Main Responsibilities

Key person to coordinate with Transport Providers, Customer Engagement and Warehouse Manager to ensure on time delivery of all sales orders to the customers.

3PL MGT

Provides the necessary parameters and insights to aid in the freight negotiation with transport providers. Leads in transportation bidding and selection process.
Manages relationships with transport providers by jointly analyzing the key business drivers beyond price, such as quality of service.
Monitors and regularly evaluates service provider performance.

CONTRACT MGT:

Drafts contracts, works with Legal, track and manage contract execution, raises concerns as required to ensure targeted service levels and maximum compliance with contract terms and conditions

OUTBOUND LOGISTICS

Works with transport providers to ensure that transportation daily operations are satisfactory and oversees them on daily tasks.
Works with transport providers / Customer Engagement / Customers in order to optimize transport modes, order patterns and co-loads.
Reviews with transport providers the KPIs to improve processes and to ensure that they follow SOP for the area of given responsibility.
Provides analytics and recommendation to optimize route and improve processes.

COST MGT

Monitors and analyzes actual shipment cost vs standard and budget and provides an explanation for major discrepancy. Reviews with Finance when necessary.
Analyzes the spend and requirement patterns to identify areas of potential leverage.
Prepares annual and YTG projection based on prevailing parameters.
Identifies" Funding the Growth" opportunities based on cost management analytics

ISSUE and EXCEPTION MGT

Leads the coordination with finance and customer engagement on delivery issues such as cuts and returns. Prepares all relevant documents for freight claims processing.
Leads in the resolution of pilferage, theft, fraud and other delivery issues.

What you'll need...

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related course
2 years experience in transport management.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High level of numeracy and attention to detail
Able to plan, prioritize and flexible to changes
Collaborative, customer oriented and proactive
