We are on the lookout for a dynamic and eager Junior Linux Embedded System Engineer with an interest in the porting and abstraction of subsystems. As a Junior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the adaptation of Linux-based embedded systems to new hardware platforms and contributing to the development of scalable and flexible solutions. Key Responsibilities:

Support in Subsystem Porting

• Assist in the porting of Linux-based embedded systems to new hardware platforms under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand and work on software-hardware interfaces.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining hardware abstraction layers.

Abstraction Subsystem Development

• Assist in the design and implementation of abstraction layers for various subsystems, fostering modular development.
• Contribute to the development of APIs and libraries to facilitate subsystem functionalities.

Kernel Customization and Optimization

• Support the customization of Linux kernel components to suit the requirements of the target hardware.
• Assist in optimizing kernel parameters and configurations to enhance system performance and reliability.

Driver Development and Integration

• Assist in the development and integration of device drivers to support new hardware components.
• Collaborate with team members to address driver-related issues and improvements.

Documentation and Collaboration

• Assist in creating documentation for porting and abstraction initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate integration and testing of ported subsystems.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in Linux embedded systems development, with a willingness to specialize in porting and abstraction subsystems.

Skills

• Basic proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Familiarity with Linux kernel internals and a desire to deepen expertise in this area.
• Exposure to bootloaders (e.g., U-Boot) and kernel configuration and customization is a plus.
• A foundational understanding of hardware platforms and interfaces (e.g., ARM, MIPS, PCIe, I2C, SPI, etc.).
