Role Description The Chief Accountant (Kế Toán Trưởng) will oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls for Aura Group's entities. This full-time, on-site role is based in the Ho Chi Minh City Metropolitan Area and involves supervising the accounting team, reviewing daily transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings. The position is responsible for preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing financial analysis to support management decisions.
The Chief
Accountant will also develop and implement accounting policies, ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards, and collaborate with other departments on cost control, cash flow management, and financial planning.
Qualifications
Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams, with solid people management and mentoring skills.
Knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant legal requirements; familiarity with international standards is an advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as MS Excel and other office tools.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Chief Accountant certificate is preferred.
Several years of progressive experience in accounting, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role;
experience in beauty, retail, or service industries is a plus.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidential handling of financial data.
