We are looking for potential candidates who are willing to work as an R&D Engineer (Washing Machine Performance Design) at Panasonic Appliances Vietnam.
JOB DETAILS:
- Working hour: From 8 a.m to 4:45 p.m.
- Working location: Thang Long II Industrial Zone, Hung Yen (daily shuttle bus from Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong & Hung Yen).
OVERALL:
- Research and design new innovative functions based on project plan and research initiatives.
- Evaluate new function designs and safety requirement according to Panasonic and international standards through chemical testing.
- Handle technical design documents such as product specifications, safety checklists, reliability test reports, etc.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and study design requests and design concept Planning/ Marketing Department and design program features.
- Work with the software team to write the program of the washing machine according to the design.
- Conduct and follow necessary tests and evaluate new features to ensure quality goals.
- Conduct of experiments to evaluate and benchmark product features with corresponding products of competitors.
- Guide and follow technicians/ engineers to conduct safety tests.
- Prepare reports on design inspection results and get approval.
- Other tasks as assigned by leader (20%): Complete feature design documentation; Conduct/ follow conducting experiments to support activities of certificate registration; Follow/ supervise quality problems including in the production process and the market quality issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (most preferred) or other technical fields.
- Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in similar position.
Freshers with good language abilities and laboratory experience are warmly welcomed.
- Knowledge & Skills:
+ Fundamental knowledge of natural science such as mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
+ Strong computer proficiency, especially MS Office.
+ Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
+ Be responsible, enthusiastic and strong teamwork skill.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Language: Intermediate English (TOEIC 500+) or Japanese communication (N4+).
