Customer formulations
Understand customer requests, document them in clear objective terms, and identify possible ways to technically fulfill them;
Identify opportunities to advance beyond matching competitive technology;
Collaborate with commercial leaders to identify the opportunities with best prospects for technical and commercial success;
Conduct lab studies to prepare the formulations and test aspects of their performance;
Communicate findings in a clear and compelling manner;
Manage and manufacture of products to customers' formulations and evaluation of stability tests of same, under guidance.
Training
Provide technical training for our commercial and technical colleagues in our lateral value chain of products and formulations;
Assist commercial colleagues to achieve competitive advantage with the use of Azelis laboratories.
Health and Safety
Responsibility for all health and safety procedures in the laboratory;
Continuous improvement of health and safety procedures;
Ensure all team members follow health and safety procedures;
Provide training to team members where required.
Day to day responsibility for the laboratory;
Support the manufacturing of samples for use by Sales Teams and maintenance of records and stock levels of same;
Assisting and support in re-packing of materials for Samples Department and review the implementation of procedures;
Manage and cover the holidays in the Samples Department if and when required.

We are looking for a proactive personality that is ready to work in an international rapidly changing and challenging environment, who is passionate about data in all its many forms, with the following qualifications and skills:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree (MS or PhD degree preferred) in a chemistry-related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in laboratory roles in the CASE industry.
Knowledge of technical product specifications.
Excellent customer service skills.
Knowledge of legislation, rules and regulations related to the work activity / area of competence.
IT literacy (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
Fluent English and Vietnamese required (both verbal and written communication), other languages a plus.
Team player with excellent communication, networking and collaboration skills, able to work as part of a small team and a global Azelis network.
Time management skills in order to follow different assigned targets, able to anticipate issues and problems before they surface.
Highly organized and flexible at the same time, hands-on, able to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Sense of ownership and drive (creative problem solver, self-starter with a bias for prompt action and removing roadblocks, accountable to get things done in a timely manner, perseverant).
