JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview of the Operation Department.
- Keep the overview of all confirmed programs for all clients and collaborate with sales and operations to improve if necessary.
- Review in priority all operating programs of Diamond and gold Clients.
- Support the Operation Manager with the guide briefing for all Diamond Client files.
- Follow up with the guide and travelers on the spot. Support the Operation Manager in dealing with any issues on-spot as a matter of urgency.
- Take responsibility for the emergency phone for the French market.
Communicate with other Departments.
- Conduct internal training within the Operation Team and for other departments and external suppliers (including guides, both full-time, freelance, and home stay).
- Coordinate with other related departments to ensure the quality of operational activities.
- Encourage synergies with other destinations/departments by sharing the best practices and seeking continuous improvements daily.
Quality Follow-up
- Call travelers (all markets) who are on the spot and record the feedback.
- Review and summarize all feedback collected from the feedback forms (paper and digital), client emails/complaints, client calls, guides, and other sources.
- Analyze all feedback and investigate any issues. Identify and implement long-term solutions to improve the services in Laos, with the collaboration of the managers and the staff concerned. Issues on the spot are to be resolved as a matter of urgency and will be discussed in detail in the monthly team meetings.
- Support the Country Director and Operation Manager with the yearly/ongoing guide and staff/sales training with the aim of improving the quality of Easia's services.
- Meet special/VIP clients on the spot to welcome/support/collect feedback.
- Inspections of the services to check the quality or to test new services. Meetings with guides and suppliers when necessary.
- Escort French TO/TA Famtrips when necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to review supplier priority lists.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent in French and English.
- Strong knowledge of the Tourism field, Hotel and Tourism Management.
- Creative, dynamic, and good knowledge of products and destinations in Laos.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong decision-making skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
- Characteristics: pleasant personality, positive attitude, open-minded, honest, active, and decisive.
