What you should have

• 9+ years of experience and must have a computer science /IT background.

• Communication skills: Can explain the data from a business perspective, communicate clearly and effectively to cross-functional business partners of varying technical levels. Good data storytelling skill

• Technical expert with through years of experience and wide range of knowledge in software/technology and coordinate the project with junior staff members to completion.

• Programming expertise with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or Python including object-oriented design

• Excellent understanding of architectural and software design patterns

• Experience with at least one Data Warehousing Solution such as Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake and BI tooling engine such as Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio

• Experience with at least one data workflow management tools Airflow, Google Data Flow, etc.

• Experienced at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly.

• Experienced with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational / Non-relational databases.

• Experience with various SD frameworks/tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Vault.

• Self-motivated, fast learner, detail-oriented, team player and a sense of humour

Bonus Points For

• Ability to write scalable micro-services using Flask, Django, Typescript, etc.

• Experience with Scrum methodology and XP technical practices such as unit testing, pair programming, test-driven development, continuous integration or continuous delivery

• Experience with various cloud-based solutions such as Google Cloud Platform, Qubole, Segment, Tableau, Workato

• Past projects on Realtime data ingestion concepts and approaches.

• Understands and can develop streaming processing applications using technologies like Flink, Kafka-Streams, Spark-Streaming, etc

• Have extensive programming experience (Python, Scala, TS etc).
