Lead Financial Accountant (Manager Level)

Leadership Responsibilities:
The Lead Financial accountant will support the team members with technical-related questions and issues, and also support people in different functions such as tax, group accounting when it comes to financial controlling, and technical accounting matters.
Purpose of the Role
- to ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes, the timely and accurate submission of the financial & statutory report
- to give technical accounting support within his/her own discipline to the FC team,
- partner with the RTR team to ensure the information in the legal entity's financial statements accurately and completely reflects our business operations.
- to support the decision-making process with different financial controlling analysis,
- to ensure that the policies and procedures are understood and followed in the team and act as an advisor to other GBO group function teams
- To support internal and external audits
Top 3-5 Accountabilities
- Perform month-end close responsibilities including journal entry preparation, supporting the reconciliation process (e.g. accounting guidance and ensuring proper backup information and data in alignment with PCAOB requirements)
- Prepare financial & statutory reports and oversee the statutory adjustment and transfer pricing process
- Ensure that financial & statutory processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with the internal (CARM) and external requirements
- Understand, interpret, and implement Group Accounting and Reporting requirements; communicate requirements to the rest of the Financial Control team and to relevant teams in GBO
- Support the FAC process, and provide analysis for the FAC completion
