Experience: 5-7years Bangalore Technical Skills Required
- B.E / B. Tech preferred in Computer Science from a premium educational institution
- 5-7 years of professional software development experience developing mission-critical applications in a production UNIX environment with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
- Strong technical skills in C++/Java, MySQL, Oracle, UNIX, Apache, Netty and Tomcat
- Expertise in two or more of these fields is mandatory: Databases (or Large Data stores) / Networking / OS /Distributed Computing / Grid Computing / Web Services
In-depth Experience with
- Common web services protocols (DNS, HTTP, SSL, REST)
- Understanding of scalability considerations in designing high-performance servers
- Unix operating systems (especially Linux) and system calls
- TCP/IP networking and network programming
- Hashing and caching, disk/memory tradeoffs
- Memory management, threads, I/O performance optimization
- Ability to drive the problem resolution process from start to finish
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
- Thrive in a cross functional team on high profile, critical projects
- Strong skills and proven record of designing and implementing multi-tier web solutions
- Strong debugging/diagnostic and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Can learn and implement new technologies quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- History of delivering successful software products on time
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with entire software development lifecycle including requirements, specification, documentation, testing, release and maintenance
Nice to have / willing to learn:
- Background in 24x7 operating environments will be very valuable
