Job Description
LEAD WEEKEND SALES ASSISTANT:
Work Room Four are recruiting a key member of staff, we're looking for excellent candidates to support in the sales and retail side of the studio, we need a LEAD WEEKEND SALES ASSISTANT. This position is for someone who loves working on multiple projects for a dynamic company with a base in Art and Design.
You will be reporting to our Lead Gallery Assistant and our Founder and the work is based in sales, alongside administrative and logistical tasks to ensure the smooth running of the shop and gallery over the weekends.
This post calls for a candidate with a flexible attitude who can not only meticulously follow instructions, but also takes initiative when required. We are looking for someone with good organisation skills and attention to detail.
You MUST be confident in liaising in English and Vietnamese fluently to our clients.
This post requires the candidate to work all day Saturday and Sunday and at least one weekday to understand how the team works as a whole. Some evening work due to exhibitions and events may be required.
We have a 2 part interview process, we interview 1st by phone and 2nd in person in English and in Vietnamese. The interview also includes a translation exercise.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft monthly sales reports
Stock check and inventory
Production and packaging of in-house products
General house-keeping and maintaining displays, keeping products stocked and well - merchandised
Liaising directly with customers and clients regarding sales of art work and products
Manage sales and sales records
Communicating directly with artists and designers relating to any needs associated with consigning artwork

Good spoken and written English and Vietnamese
Confident and open - ready to talk to customers
Efficient and reliable - good work ethic

PART TIME - SALES ASSISTANTS:
We are looking for part time sales assistants with great interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a creative retail environment. This position works under the supervision of the Lead Gallery Assistant and you will liaise directly with artists and vendors in regards to consigned art work and products.
There is a lot of communication in both languages, with clients in ENGLISH and artists in Vietnamese, so STRONG LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE ESSENTIAL. We are looking for someone with good organisation skills and attention to detail.
The studio shop assistant positions are part-time (min 20 hours per week, including Saturday and Sunday)

Benefits
Contract term minimum one year, 2 month paid trial, 6 month pay review, payment for 13th month.
