Lighting R&D Manager

Lead and manage the Engineering Department: Develop team capability, assign tasks, and ensure alignment of engineering goals with company strategy and production needs.
Oversee product design, process setup, and technical documentation: Ensure all designs, BOMs, and work instructions are accurate, standardized, and updated in accordance with production changes.
Monitor and improve production processes: Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, defects, and inefficiencies, and lead corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Manage new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change management (ECN): Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production.
Control and maintain production equipment and technical systems: Ensure machines, tools, and jigs are properly maintained, calibrated, and improved to meet operational and quality requirements.
Lead root cause analysis for technical issues: Work with cross-functional teams to investigate product or process failures, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety, and environmental regulations: Develop and enforce engineering procedures that align with ISO, CE and other relevant standards.
Support cost reduction and productivity improvement projects: Drive technical innovation to reduce material waste, improve yield rates, and enhance production automation.
