Linux Embedded System Tester

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded Linux systems.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, security testing... on embedded devices.
• Identify, isolate, and document software defects and issues.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and hardware engineers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing strategies and best practices.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in embedded Linux testing or a similar role.
• Understanding of embedded systems architecture (including hardware components, peripherals, and system-on-chip (SoC) platforms) and principles.
• Solid understanding of different types of testing, including but not limited to unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, stress testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Proven ability to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for embedded Linux systems, including defining test objectives, scope, methodology, and timelines.
• Experience in analyzing project requirements, identifying testing requirements, and creating detailed test cases and scenarios to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in embedded systems testing and quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with embedded development tools and environments.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with JIRA system
• Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI).
• Graduated from Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT).
