Customs Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to all import/export regulations and customs requirements.
Accurately prepare and manage customs documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and declarations.
Collaborate with customs brokers and authorities to address and resolve customs clearance issues.
Stay informed on changes in customs regulations and update company procedures as needed.
Transportation Coordination
Schedule and manage transportation for both inbound and outbound shipments.
Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers and logistics providers for cost-effective solutions.
Monitor transportation costs and performance to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Supplier & Customer Relations
Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure the timely receipt of materials.
Coordinate with customers to guarantee the accurate and prompt delivery of finished products.
Address and resolve issues related to shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure full compliance with import/export regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documentation.
Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations within logistics operations.
Process Improvement
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in logistics operations.
Introduce best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Train and supervise logistics staff, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
