Logistics Officer

Job Summary: The Logistics Officer will be responsible for effectively managing all logistics activities related to importing and exporting raw materials and finished goods, machinery, including coordination with local and international suppliers, customs clearance, and ensuring compliance with Vietnamese laws and regulations. This position demands a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in logistics within the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations, liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, and customers.
2. Ensure efficient and cost-effective import and export of raw materials and machinery, including obtaining necessary permits and licenses.
3. Coordinate with customs brokers for the clearance of imported and exported goods and ensure compliance with Vietnamese regulations and international standards.
4. Monitor logistics performance and implement improvements to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
5. Stay informed of changes in logistics regulations and laws affecting the company's operations in Vietnam.
6. Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers, logistics service providers, and government agencies.
7. Prepare reports on logistics performance and costs for management review.
8. Filing and control all relating documentation and records
9. Truck management including servicing and reporting to management
10. Other duties as assigned.
