The Logistics Sales Assistant provides direct support to the sales team by coordinating, managing, and monitoring business activities related to logistics services. This role requires close collaboration with other departments to ensure efficient service delivery and meet customer expectations.
1. Description
Support the sales team in communicating and working with Chinese clients and partners in the logistics field (freight forwarding, import-export, warehousing, etc.).
Receive and process customer inquiries, send quotations, track orders, delivery schedules, and resolve arising issues.
Coordinate with shipping lines, Chinese agents, and forwarders to place bookings, arrange containers, and confirm vessel schedules.
Update and monitor shipment status, assist in document processing: SI, HBL, MBL, invoice, packing list, etc.
Prepare sales reports, order tracking, and assist with administrative tasks as assigned by managers.
2. Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Business, or related fields.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the logistics industry.
Language:
Intermediate English communication skills.
