Make the most of this challenging role to:
• Be in-charge & responsible for the complete filing system to support financial records
• Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts
• Allocate and post financial transaction details to client's subscribed cloud based accounting system such as Xero
• Reconcile and balance all accounts (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss)
• Record accounts and prepare manual journal entries
• Prepare interim financial statements (Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss)
• Collate and analyze account data and generate financial reports
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Cashflow forecasting where required
• Financial/ investment modelling where required
• Be in-charge in the preparation and lodgment of Business Activity Statement to Australian Taxation Office
• Perform other tasks as required by the client and the management
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Efficient time management is key. Management of multiple clients at one time required
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Advanced Excel is a bonus)
• High level knowledge on Xero accounting system
• Exposure in handling Australian accounts (preferred but not necessary)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with IELTS score minimum 6.0
• High degree of accuracy and attention to details
• Flexibility to perform other relevant tasks as required by the clients
EXPERIENCE
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant course
• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting roles
• Strong knowledge of generally acceptable accounting principles & international accounting
